The first week in April was reserved for a study visit to our western neighbours, Italian National Contact Point. In order to get most out of the visit for potential Slovenian applicants and partners, part of the visit were also meetings with beneficiaries of seven Italian LIFE projects, who shared their experience with us.

The LIFE CBI SI team responded to the invitation of regional development agencies and organized last month a series of LIFE workshops for companies in various Slovene towns and presented the opportunities offered by the LIFE programme to 33 Slovenian companies.
In February and March, the applicants were informed about the results of the first phase of the 2016 LIFE Call selection process. Slovenia did a great job, since seven of the 14 project proposals submitted passed to the second phase.
