Due to the low number of applications, detailed workshops for Climate Action and Nature are cancelled. You are invited to join us at a detailed workshop for the Environment, which will take place on Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Bled.

At the end of April, a 2017 LIFE call was published, which is among others intended for co-financing of so called traditional LIFE projects. In order to present the novelties of the call and the process of submitting the LIFE project, the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning will organize a detailed workshop. Although the workshop will be dedicated to the presentation of the environmental topics of the call, we will also be available for questions related to nature and climate action.

For everyone who will not be able to attend the event, a live web streaming will be available. Those who will join us will be able to upgrade the newly gained knowledge with a field trip to a Slovenian LIFE project.

At the detailed workshop in Bled, the participants will have the opportunity to learn from the first hand, since foreign and Slovenian beneficiaries will share their experience. University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and its Slovenian partner, AMBI-Metalplast, will present the projeca LIFE Baqua. The subcontractor in the project is the Slovenian Tool anad Die Development Centre – Tecos. After the theoretical part, we will have a practical presentation of the LIFE Stop CyanoBloom project at the Lake Bled, where the project’s demonstration vessel is stationed.

The web streaming will also be available for the international LIFE networking conference, taking place on May 25, 2017 in Ljubljana.
