LIFE NATURAVIVA is one of the seven Slovenian approved LIFE projects that were submitted in 2016. Biodiversity is all around us and has many faces, colours and patterns. Because Slovenia boasts with one of the highest biodiversity in Europe, the LIFE NATURAVIVA project has set itself not to only promote natural values, but also to reveal the natural features and their significance along with highlighting the threats that threaten them.

The project from the priority area Environmental governance and information will be implemented from September 2017 to August 2022. The total project budget is just € 2.5 million, of which 60% is co-financed by the European Commission from the LIFE programme and 10% by the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning.
