Forest owners and volunteers, the LIFE ARTEMIS project team (Awareness, training and measures on invasive alien species in forests) invites you to training for participation in an early warning system and rapid response to alien species in the forest – the ZOHO system. The trainings will be held in 14 places in Slovenia in September and October.

Locations and timetables are attached in the picture below and on this link. Each workshop will take about 3 hours. Participation in the training is free of charge, but registration is obligatory through the online form or by e-mail to the coordinator of each workshop (addresses are given in the table below).

At the training, you will learn about selected alien species, early warning and rapid response system (ZOHO), and the application Invazivka for reporting about alien species. In the field part of the workshop you will also see some alien species. The training will be carried out by employees of the Slovenian Forest Service.

If after submitting the application you find that you will not be able to attend the workshop, please inform the coordinator to avoid the excess food, unnecessary costs and waste.
