The LIFE programme published a call for co-financing traditional, integrated, preparatory and technical assistance projects for 2018. This year, they will invest close to €400 million in nature conservation, environmental protection and climate action. The novelty of this year’s call is a two-stage application of traditional projects in the LIFE sub-programme for Environment.

Most of the projects are so called traditional projects that can be submitted by all legal entities (public or private organizations, profit or non-profit) registered in the European Union. If you have a project idea in the field of nature conservation, environmental protection or climate action, and want to obtain a LIFE grant, the next step is to read the documents from the application packages, especially Guidelines for applicants and Guide for evaluation). Application packages are published on the LIFE website. If you have any questions regarding LIFE 2018 Call, you can contact LIFE team of the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning through e-mail (life.mop@gov.si). We will present the call to potential applicants in a detailed workshop, which will take place on May 23, 2018 at the Slovenian Forestry Institute.
