You are kindly invited to 26th International Conference on Bear Research and Management titled “Life with bears” organized by the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana and the Slovenia Forest Service within the framework of the international project LIFE DINALP BEAR. The conference will take place from 16 to 21 September 2018 in the Union Hotel in Ljubljana. Almost 250 international experts and bear managers will participate in the event.

The main theme of the 26th IBA Conference is the human-bear coexistence in human dominated and politically fragmented landscapes. Within the diverse conference programme, experts and managers will present the results of the latest researches, technical progresses and case studies from a wide range of topics relevant to ensuring the long-term coexistence of bears and humans.
