As the national contact point our task is also to connect and facilitate the search for partners both, national and international level. Recently, we have received three invitations for Slovenian organizations to participate in the preparation of transnational projects.

ITALY

The Italian municipality of Imola, which is part of Bologna Metropolitan City, wants to develop a project idea for the next ADRION call mainly on waste management, waste treatment and recycling.

The project application will concentrate on Priority Axis 2 Sustainable Region, where they will address the Thematic Objective 6 Preserving and protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency, specifically the Investment Priority is 6d – Protecting and restoring biodiversity and soil and promoting ecosystem services, including trough Natura 2000, and green infrastructure, which includes the Specific Objective 2.2. Enhance the capacity in transnationally tackling environmental vulnerability, fragmentation and the safeguarding of ecosystem services in the Adriatic-Ionian area.

They are primarily interested in partnership with municipalities/local communities, public authorities and organizations that manage green infrastructure.

Belgian retailer involved in the EU pilots on European methodology for Environmental footprinting, is preparing a LIFE proposal with partners from France, Germany, Estonia, Italy and Switzerland.
