Two years later exhibition Live Treasures of our Waters returned to Jakopič Promenade in Tivoli Park, Ljubljana. The exhibition is a result of LIFE project AQUAVIVA: Live Water – from Biodiversity to the Tap.

From now on birdwatching on Lake Ptuj is much easier, since there is a new observation tower available for visitors. The tower is a result of LIFE project LIVEDRAVA.

Company Arhel d. o. o. organizes in collaboration with the National Institute of Biology and Municipality Bled a closure conference of the project LIFE Stop CyanoBloom entitled Freshwater bodies: monitoring and methods for cyanobacterial bloom control. The conference will take place on 1st and 2nd December 2016 at Arhel’s bussiness unit (Tržaška 330, Ljubljana).

In the project LIFE Capacity Building Slovenia we are looking for a new team member, familiar with the area Environment and Resource Efficiency. The Call was published on 5th October 2016 on the website of the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning. Deadline for job applications is 10th October 2016.

LIVE DRAVA project team warmly invites you to the official opening of the observation tower for birds on Lake Ptuj. The event will take place this Friday, 14th October 2016 at 10 am. Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning Irena Majcen will participate in the event.

In the framework of the project LIFE DINALP BEAR – Population level management and conservation of brown bears in northern Dinaric Mountains and the Alps a new leaflet was prepared entitled Keep bears wild and away from human foods.

Within LIFE project LIVEDRAVA – Riparian Ecosystem Restoration of the Lower Drava River in Slovenia a short documentary entitled Drava River – Nature’s Gift for Every Generation was prepared, presenting the story of Drava River from the times of our ancestors to present days, when its image is quite different.

Company Arhel d. o. o. organizes in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy a closure conference of the project LIFE PharmDegrade entitled Pharmacologically active substances in wastewater: optimisation of analytical methods and removal processes. The conference will take place on 24th and 25th November 2016 at Arhel’s bussiness unit (Tržaška 330, Ljubljana).
